Dwight D. Scifres - Owner of Scifres Gunsmithing Services
Dwight is the sole proprietor of Scifres Gunsmithing Services. Dwight received his formal training in small arms repair while serving in the United States Marine Corps, and has been working on guns for over 40 years. While serving in the USMC, Dwight was a shooting instructor as well as a competition shooter. Dwight has spent a lifetime competing with the rifle, pistol and shotgun, and is an avid hunter. He is a certified shooting instructor, a hunter safety instructor, and an experienced gunsmith. His 40+ years experience of making custom ammunition and intricate knowledge of ballistics gives him an understanding of firearms far beyond that of the average gunsmith. Dwight personally insures that every customer receives the attention they deserve and receives a quality product in a timely fashion. Whether a customer needs a simple repair or wants the custom gun of his dreams, Dwight's unique perspective and experience is something that his customers have learned to appreciate.
